The Montenegrin delegation successfully participated in the Seminar on Investment and Trade Cooperation between Montenegro and the People’s Republic of China, which brought together representatives of relevant institutions, development zones, business entities and investors from China.<\/p>\n\n

The Montenegrin Investment Agency served as the leading institution of the Montenegrin delegation, which also included representatives of the General Secretariat of the Government of Montenegro, the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Economic Development, and the Ministry of Regional-Investment Development and Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations.<\/p>\n\n

The seminar programme included expert lectures, presentations, study visits and exchanges of experience with Chinese counterparts in the fields of economic development, international trade, foreign direct investment attraction, the development of free trade zones, industrial parks, innovation centres, logistics, infrastructure and sustainable development. The Montenegrin delegation had the opportunity to gain insight into modern models of economic development in the People’s Republic of China, as well as examples of best practices in investment promotion, the development of a competitive business environment and the enhancement of international economic cooperation. <\/p>\n\n

During the programme, the Montenegrin delegation visited the cities of Haikou, Shanghai, Suzhou, Sanya and Qionghai, where participants had the opportunity to learn about China’s experience in economic development, international trade, investment attraction, free trade zones, industrial parks, innovation centres and sustainable development. Particular attention was devoted to the development model of Hainan Province, as well as to the experiences of leading Chinese economic and technological centres in creating a competitive business environment and attracting foreign investment. <\/p>\n\n

A particularly significant segment of the programme was the promotion of Montenegro’s investment potential held at the Jiangdong New Area Exhibition Center in Haikou, where the Montenegrin Investment Agency, as the leading institution of the delegation, presented investment opportunities in Montenegro to representatives of Chinese institutions and companies. Following the opening remarks of the Acting Director of the Montenegrin Investment Agency, the Deputy Director delivered a comprehensive presentation on Montenegro’s investment potential, with a special focus on opportunities in tourism, energy, infrastructure, transport, logistics, the digital economy and innovation. <\/p>\n\n

The event was attended by representatives of the International Cooperation and Exchange Center of the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province, the Jiangdong New Area Administration, the SME Cooperation and Development Promotion Center, as well as representatives of CETC Taili Communication Technology Co., Ltd., Yuetu Group, China Merchants Bank (CMB) and Hainan Hongbao Investment Holding Co., Ltd. The event provided an important platform for presenting Montenegro’s investment potential to key Chinese institutions and the business community, while also highlighting development projects and opportunities for future economic cooperation. <\/p>\n\n

Throughout the seminar, members of the Montenegrin delegation actively participated in expert discussions and exchanges of experience with Chinese counterparts, presenting Montenegro’s development potential and opportunities for enhanced cooperation in the fields of investment, economy, tourism, transport, innovation and regional development. The active engagement of all delegation members contributed to the comprehensive presentation of Montenegro and further strengthened institutional and economic ties between the two countries. <\/p>\n\n

Participation in the seminar once again confirmed the importance of the international activities of the Montenegrin Investment Agency in promoting Montenegro as an attractive investment destination and a reliable partner for international projects. As the leading institution of the Montenegrin delegation, the Agency made a significant contribution to enhancing Montenegro’s international visibility and positioning in the Chinese market through its active participation throughout the programme, the promotion of investment opportunities and the presentation of the country’s development potential. <\/p>\n\n

At the same time, the active involvement of representatives of all institutions comprising the Montenegrin delegation contributed to the comprehensive presentation of Montenegro’s development potential and to the further strengthening of institutional and economic relations between Montenegro and the People’s Republic of China. The seminar served as an important platform for knowledge and experience exchange, the promotion of Montenegro’s investment opportunities and the enhancement of cooperation in areas of mutual interest, creating a solid foundation for strengthening economic relations and intensifying future cooperation between the two countries. <\/p>\n\n
