Acting director of Montenegrin Investment Agency Mr. Mladen Grgić and his associates, held a meeting with the Mayor of Pljevlja Municipality Mr. Igor Golubović.
The meeting was used to exchange views on potential projects that can be implemented through the public-private partnership and how to overcome existing obstacles faced by municipality.
Representatives of the Montenegrin Investment Agency presented all the advantages provided by the Law on Public-Private Partnership, in the context of the application of public-private partnership, as a new investment model in Montenegro.
It was agreed that it is necessary to strengthen communication between the Agency and contracting authorities, local governments, and how to further enhance cooperation.
Representatives of the Agency presented the most common requests and interests of foreign investors when it comes to investments in the north. Locating business zones and facilities on them was pointed out. Direct cooperation will be established and in that way the investor will be provided with more concrete information, as soon as possible.
