Mirjana Kojić Appointed Acting Director of the Investment Agency of Montenegro

Based on the decision of the Council of the Investment Agency of Montenegro, Mrs. Mirjana Kojić has been appointed Acting Director.

Mrs. Kojić was born in 1977 and has more than twenty years of professional experience in international cultural and business institutions in Montenegro, Serbia, and Italy. Throughout her career, she has held a number of managerial and expert positions, with a particular focus on international cooperation, investment promotion, strategic planning, and the implementation of complex international projects.

Before her appointment as head of the Agency, Mrs. Kojić managed the Department for International Cooperation at the Music Centre of Montenegro. Thanks to her personal efforts, Montenegro received one of the largest donations in the cultural sector—equipment worth nearly one million euros—through the Government of Japan’s Cultural Grant Assistance Program, implemented by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

During her career, she has held key managerial positions, including serving as Secretary General of the Italian-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, a position approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy (MAECI). She coordinated operational and strategic activities and contributed to strengthening economic ties between Italy and the region. Her professional journey began in the cultural sector—international cooperation at the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in Udine, Italy—after which she worked on international projects at the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro and gained experience in renowned international institutions and companies, including Deloitte Serbia.

Mrs. Kojić takes over the leadership of the Investment Agency of Montenegro with the mission of contributing to the implementation of the institution’s program priorities—strengthening Montenegro’s international recognition as an investment destination, improving the business environment, and fostering sustainable economic development.
