The Montenegrin Investment Agency of (MIA), led by Director Snežana Đurović, paid an official visit to the Investment Development Agency of Albania (AIDA), headed by Director Laura Plaku (Saro)..

On that occasion, a ceremony was held to sign the Memorandum of Understanding, which defined the key directions of future cooperation.

During the meeting, important conclusions were reached:

• Organization of a joint business forum in 2025, in Podgorica or Tirana, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation.

• Exchange of experiences related to the implementation of the Law on Strategic Investments of Albania.

• Holding periodic meetings, exchange of information and initiatives aimed at improving investment development in strategic sectors, such as energy, tourism, agriculture and the IT sector.

The meeting ended with a visit to the National Arena stadium in Tirana, which is an example of a successfully implemented public-private partnership project and an inspiration for similar projects in Montenegro.

This cooperation marks a significant step towards strengthening relations between the two countries, with a focus on joint work on projects of regional importance.
