The Investment Agency and UNDP are working together to strengthen economic projects in Montenegro

The Montenegrin Investment Agency and UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) held a constructive meeting with the aim of further improving cooperation on projects aimed at stimulating sustainable economic growth and attracting foreign investments to Montenegro.

The meeting discussed new opportunities for joint projects that will contribute to the strengthening of infrastructure, as well as the development of the tourism sector and sustainable energy sources.

Director of the Investment Agency, Snezana Djurovic, emphasized the importance of cooperation with UNDP, as well as the continuous effort to create conditions for attracting international investments, through the implementation of policies that support the country’s long-term economic goals.

Ekaterina Paniklova, UNDP Resident Representative in Montenegro, emphasized the importance of the support of international organizations in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and welcomed the proactivity of the Investment Agency in the implementation of key projects.

Both sides agreed that it is necessary to further strengthen institutional cooperation and coordination in order to successfully implement projects that will improve the business climate in Montenegro and provide better investment opportunities.
