Representatives of the Montenegrin Investment Agency (MIA), Director Mr. Mladen Grgić, Assistant Director Mr. Andrej Lakić and officials of the Public-Private Partnership Sector, paid a study visit to the Republic of Croatia, on invitation of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.

The competencies and tasks of the Agency were presented at the meeting with the representatives of Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, with special reference to the investment sector and the public-private partnership sector, but also the role of the Agency as the first meeting point for foreign investors in Montenegro.

At the meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and Ministry of Finance, the interlocutors exchanged the previous experiences of the Republic of Croatia regarding the implementation of the institute of public-private partnership, but also the opinions regarding the provision of possible technical support to the Agency, which would help further strengthen its capacities, and agreed on further cooperation between the Agency and the Ministry.

During the study visit to the Republic of Croatia, Director of the Montenegrin Investment Agency Mr. Mladen Grgic and Assistant Director Mr. Andrej Lakic will meet with the representatives of leading Croatian companies from the economy, tourism and IT sectors to discuss opportunities for concrete cooperation in strategic areas of the two countries.
