
The Montenegrin Investment Agency participated in this year’s CELIS Forum on Investment Screening and Economic Security, held from 22 to 24 October 2025 in Berlin , with the support of the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
The Agency was represented by Nenad Radović, Head of the Department for Foreign Investment Promotion and Investment Services, who took part in discussions focused on strengthening institutional capacities and exchanging experiences in the field of foreign direct investment (FDI) screening and economic security.
The CELIS Forum (Connecting European and International Lawyers in Security) brings together government representatives, experts, international organizations, and private-sector partners to exchange experiences and enhance policies that balance market openness with the protection of strategic national interests. This year’s edition focused on developing regulatory mechanisms that enable transparent and responsible management of foreign investments, in line with the best European and international practices.
By participating in this prestigious event, the Montenegrin Investment Agency reaffirms its commitment to fostering a secure, transparent, and attractive investment environment, through strengthened institutional cooperation with international partners and alignment with European Union standards in the field of economic and investment security.
