The Investment Agency of Montenegro, in cooperation with SIGMA consultants, held a workshop today on the topic of ‘Choosing a private partner in PPP projects’.

The workshop brought together representatives of local self-governments in Montenegro as well as representatives of public companies, who had the opportunity to learn about the overall cycle of private partner selection as a special phase of the preparation and implementation of the public-private partnership project.

In addition, the Workshop was a kind of opportunity to share the previous experience of public contractors in project PPP cycles, but also to exchange opinions regarding potential projects that can be implemented through a public-private partnership model.

The Investment Agency is particularly dedicated to strengthening the capacity of public contracting authorities, and in the coming period will continue with activities aimed at intensifying cooperation with representatives of public bodies, as well as mapping potential PPP projects in Montenegro.
