The Director of the Investment Agency of Montenegro, Snežana Đurovic, together with her associates, held a meeting with the President of the Municipality of Bar, Dušan Raičević and his associates.

The main topics of the meeting related to the opportunities and challenges of public-private partnership in Montenegro and the identification of potential projects in the Municipality of Bar that could be realized through this model.

Director Đurovic presented the role of the Investment Agency in facilitating communication between investors and state authorities, with the aim of overcoming administrative and other obstacles. Đurovic emphasized the importance of providing an efficient environment in Montenegro.

For his part, President Raičević took the opportunity to introduce Director Đurović to the business and investment environment in the Municipality of Bar, and introduced the interlocutors to the support programs that the local administration continuously implements in order to develop local business and valorize the tourist potential of Bar. He also drew attention to the challenges that the Municipality of Bar faces due to centralized administrative procedures, i.e. the elimination of business barriers. Special attention at the meeting was devoted to investment projects in Bar, which are currently in the planning or implementation phase, and which will significantly contribute to the development of the local community and economy.
