On June 30, a Montenegrin delegation consisting of representatives of the Montenegrin Investment Agency, the Chamber of Economy and the Electric Industry of Montenegro held a meeting with representatives of the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce. At a meeting with the Director of the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce for Central, Eastern, Southeastern Europe, Turkey and Central Asia, Mr. Paul Schmitz, Vice President Melanie Nolte and International Business Director Jurgen Ratzinger, the role of the Agency, its competences and activities were presented and the new visit in the fall to targeted German companies was announced, where the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce would be a valuable source of contacts.
As part of the meeting, the Agency held a detailed presentation of the investment potentials and programs of Montenegro, with an additional presentation of the energy sector held by a representative of the EPCG company. After the presentations, there was a discussion about challenges in the energy sector, innovations in this field that would accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, as well as about potential fairs in Germany that the Montenegrin Investment Agency could participate in in the future.
