The director of the Investment Agency of Montenegro, Mrs. Snežana Đurović, together with her team, held a meeting with a.i. (Head of Mission) of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Yousof Nasser Abdulla Albuainain Almazrouei. During the meeting, investment opportunities and key areas for cooperation between Montenegro and the UAE were discussed, with the aim of further improving economic exchange and attracting foreign investments to the Montenegrin economy.

The meeting was attended by the heads of departments Dijana Petrović, Merlina Tošić and Nenad Radović on behalf of the Agency, while Dejan Vukić attended on the side of the embassy. The participants expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation so far, especially in the fields of tourism and infrastructure, and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in the coming period.

During the meeting, both sides agreed on the need to intensify contacts, as well as concrete steps towards the realization of joint projects. They also discussed the possibilities of joint investments in the sectors of agriculture, energy, tourism and sustainable development, which would further strengthen the economic connection between the two countries.

The meeting took place in an extremely constructive and friendly atmosphere, and both sides expressed their willingness to continue fruitful cooperation in the future. It was agreed to intensify direct contacts between investors/companies from the UAE and the business community in Montenegro, as well as to hold a business forum in the coming period.
