A meeting was held today at the premises of the Montenegrin Investment Agency between representatives of the Agency and the Embassy of the Republic of India, with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation and discussing investment opportunities between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Montenegrin Investment Agency, Snezana Djurovic, and the Ambassador of India to Montenegro, the Holy See and Austria, H.E. Shambu S. Kumaran, along with his associates. The focus of the talks was on the promotion of Montenegro as an attractive destination for foreign investments, especially in the areas of tourism, healthcare, energy, agriculture, information technology and sustainable development.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of India emphasized the interest of Indian companies in potential investments in Montenegro, especially in the field of renewable energy and agriculture. They also discussed the possibility of organizing joint business forums and promoting investment opportunities in order to further strengthen ties between Montenegrin and Indian businessmen.
The Director of the Agency emphasized the strategic importance of such meetings in order to attract quality investments that contribute to the economic development of Montenegro, emphasizing the advantages that Montenegro offers to foreign investors, including a favorable tax system, a stable business environment and numerous bilateral agreements.
It was agreed to intensify cooperation through the exchange of information, organization of events and continuation of dialogue in the direction of concretization of potential projects. The Investment Agency and the Embassy of the Republic of India remain committed to a common goal – strengthening bilateral relations and encouraging economic development through investments.
